Shopping in Perth is a wonderful pastime for any retail addict. The compact city centre is easy to navigate and has a fantastic range of major stores, speciality shops and chic boutiques.

Perth's main shopping malls are the Murray Street Mall and the Hay Street Mall. Both are closed to traffic and offer a wide range of unique speciality stores. There are several arcades branching from the Murray and Hay Street Malls which also act as links from St George's Terrace to Wellington Street.

Perth's two main department stores are David Jones and Myer. Myer, also on Murray Street, is Perth's largest department store. David Jones links the Murray Street and Hay Street malls.

Most Perth stores will accept credit cards and traveller's cheques though it's worth asking before you buy if you're not sure.
